Question 1

Who is the Fieldbook for?

Accepted Answer

It is for families planning a Costa Rica trip who want to make decisions around their children, priorities, pace, and budget instead of following someone else’s itinerary.

Question 2

Is this a rigid itinerary?

Accepted Answer

No. The Fieldbook includes flexible 7- and 10-day route frameworks, not fixed itineraries. You adapt the guidance to your family, travel dates, and interests.

Question 3

What files are included?

Accepted Answer

Your package includes the Costa Rica Family Fieldbook in PDF format and the editable Family Trip Planner in Excel.

Question 4

Is the Trip Planner editable?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Excel Family Trip Planner is editable and includes guided questions, dropdown menus, and automatic calculations to help organize your plan.

Question 5

Will it help us choose destinations and the number of stops?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It helps you compare family-friendly regions and tradeoffs, choose a lead experience, decide between beach-first, inland-first, or one region, and limit unnecessary hotel changes.

Question 6

Does it cover weather, transport, and airports?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It covers Costa Rica’s dry, green, and “little summer” seasons, plus rental cars, private transfers, domestic flights, and choosing airports around your route.

Question 7

Does it include hotel recommendations?

Accepted Answer

Detailed firsthand hotel guidance is available separately in the Vetted Hotel Guide upgrade. The Fieldbook focuses on helping you make the larger trip-planning decisions first.

Question 8

What will I have after using it?

Accepted Answer

You will have a personalized route, an organized planning workbook, and a clear understanding of what to book next.

Question 9

When will I get my guide?

Accepted Answer

Your digital products are available after purchase. Follow the access details provided with your order to download and begin planning right away.

Question 10

How do I access my purchase if I lose the link?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to your library with the email address used at checkout to find your purchases. If you still need help locating an order, email team@costa-rica-field-book.madethis.app.

Question 11

What files are included with each product?

Accepted Answer

Each product page lists exactly what is included. The Costa Rica Family Fieldbook includes a PDF Fieldbook and an editable Excel Family Trip Planner; companion products include the digital files described on their own pages.

Question 12

Is this right for first-time Costa Rica family travelers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The guides are designed to help families make the big decisions with more confidence—from regions and pacing to transport, weather, and what to book next—whether Costa Rica is your first visit or a return trip.

Question 13

Are the hotel recommendations sponsored or paid placements?

Accepted Answer

No. The Vetted Hotel Guide is built around firsthand, family-focused guidance rather than sponsored or paid hotel placements.

Question 14

Can I return a digital guide?

Accepted Answer

Because these are instant digital downloads, please contact team@costa-rica-field-book.madethis.app promptly if you have an access or technical issue. We will help resolve it.

Question 15

What if I have trouble opening a file?

Accepted Answer

First, try downloading the file again and opening it with a current PDF reader or spreadsheet app. If the problem continues, email team@costa-rica-field-book.madethis.app with your order email and a brief note about what happened so we can help.

Question 16

Can I buy the Fieldbook and Hotel Guide separately?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Fieldbook and Vetted Hotel Guide are separate digital products, so you can choose the planning support that fits your trip. The Fieldbook covers the larger trip decisions; the Hotel Guide adds detailed hotel guidance.

Clear planning support, before and after purchase.
